Splitters & Taps
Splitters and taps EMP-Centauri are intended to push distribution systems beyond limits of single multiswitch. While splitters divide input signals equally, taps are characterized by two different sets of outputs: through (trunk) outputs with minimum loss, and tap outputs with considerably higher insertion loss.
Features of passive taps
- offered as SAT-only devices or incl. terrestrial section
- DC path exists between respective trunk outputs and inputs (tap outputs are DC isolated
T5/5+5PNP-3 (P.121-A)

Compact block of four satellite passive taps, terrestrial tap is provided as well. Cascadable design, DC path on through satellite lines. Tap outputs are DC blocked.
Basic unit for distribution of signals from 1 LNB and terestrial antenna.
