Splitters & Taps
Splitters and taps EMP-Centauri are intended to push distribution systems beyond limits of single multiswitch. While splitters divide input signals equally, taps are characterized by two different sets of outputs: through (trunk) outputs with minimum loss, and tap outputs with considerably higher insertion loss.
Features of active taps
- offered as SAT-only devices or incl. terrestrial section
- reduced tap loss by integrated amplifiers
T5/5+5PCA-3 (P.121-C)

Compact block of four satellite active taps, active terrestrial tap is provided as well. Cascadable design, DC path on through satellite lines. Tap amplifiers are supplied from their respective outputs.
Basic unit for distribution of signals from 1 LNB and terestrial antenna.
